Booth # 400

Teledyne Optech will transform the surveying market with the release of its new Polaris Terrestrial Laser Scanner at the upcoming SPAR 3D Expo and Conference, April 3-5, Houston. This versatile, productive and user-friendly scanner will be on display in booth #400 and visitors will have the chance to win a $500 Best Buy gift card by signing up for a system demonstration. If you can’t make it to the show, please register online at www.teledyneoptech.com/polaris.
Bridging the gap between indoor and outdoor scanners, the Polaris can survey targets up to 1600 m away in long-range mode or collect up to 500,000 measurements per seconds in short-range mode. Its 360°×120° field of view captures indoor panoramas from a single site, while its rugged design, light weight, and swappable batteries let it travel deep into the field.
Visitors can try out the Polaris and its streamlined user interface themselves. For effortless surveying, the Polaris automatically detects its location with its built-in GNSS receiver and selects the planned survey parameters for the site, so that even untrained operators can execute a survey. Alternatively, operators can set up surveys in the field and resection/backsight the system using the menu-driven GUI on its touchscreen.
The Polaris will be on display at booth 400 along with the Maverick, the newly upgraded 1-MHz Galaxy ALTM, the automated Eclipse airborne system, and the rest of our surveying products.
