1. The GSA has spent one percent of their stimulus funding.
2. The EPA has spent one half of one percent, while Agriculture has spent 70%.
3. But an insider tells me that over the past 2 weeks the phone has been ringing.

The Department of the Interior has developed a website that provides information on how the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act – ARRA stimulus funds are being spent on individual projects. Specific LiDAR projects being funded with stimulus money are being discussed at this dedicated website sponsored by the USGS. It appears that of the $140 million ARRA funding allocated to the USGS that $14.6 million will be for imagery and elevation data. It certainly is a positive, but I was hoping for more.
