Bentley Systems, Pointools and Spar Point Group Host Webinar 1/7/10

1. Bentley and Pointools singed a Technology Transfer agreement in October 2009.
2. This has the potential to be a major link between laser scanning and CAD.
3. Bentley, Pointools and Spar Point will host a seminar on Thursday to preview the future integration.

64 Bit Dilemma

1. There is a valuable discussion taking place on the Laser Scanning Forum concerning 64 bit and OS.
2. Faraz Ravi from Pointools notes that point cloud processing will benefit from the move to 64 bit, but there are issues.
3. It seems that Windows 7 is stable and a better bet than Vista.

1. Finally a BIG story to report on.
2. This is a tremendous boost to the Pointools technology and business.
