LiDAR data processing and visualization made easy
Emesent will present the next generation of its data processing and visualization software – called Aura – at Intergeo 2025.

Designed with the same versatility you expect from Hovermap, Emesent’s leading mobile LiDAR scanner, Aura makes point cloud processing and visualization faster, easier, and even more accurate.
Powerful automation, intelligent filtering, and advanced point cloud enhancement tools deliver precise, reliable results quickly.
The latest version of Aura simplifies georeferencing by allowing user-selected targets of any object identified in the point cloud. Aura automates georeferencing and drift correction, eliminating manual and time-consuming adjustments. Non-rigid merge seamlessly combines multiple point clouds into one consistent, high-quality dataset.
Emesent Aura also includes check points and error reporting to allow teams to verify their data in detail, with shareable accuracy reports giving clients full confidence in their final output.
Meanwhile, newly implemented concurrent user licensing allows multiple users across multiple locations on multiple devices to share the same license, enhancing team productivity and supporting ‘around the clock’ workflows that occur in highly distributed businesses. Emesent has removed the need to manage access physically via dongles, with user management administration built into the software.
According to co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Dr Stefan Hrabar: “By eliminating the constraints of physical dongles and giving users complete control over their target selection and accuracy validation processes, we’re enabling surveying professionals to focus on what they do best—delivering precise, reliable data to their clients fast—rather than wrestling with software.”
