MUNICH SCHOOL OF ROBOTICS – German Chancellor Meets NavVis CEO
On Friday, 24th of May,
Dr. Angela Merkel and Dr. Markus Söder paid a visit to the Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MSRM) to learn about the latest developments in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). They looked at very selected demonstrations featuring high-tech projects at Technical University of Munich (TUM) and learned about synergies with research-driven companies in the Munich metropolitan area and science-based start-ups. In this regard, NavVis was featured front and center as gold standard of a successful TUM spin-off.
As part of the tour, NavVis CEO Felix Reinshagen delivered a demo pitch of our indoor spatial intelligence technology platform with special focus on showcasing the seamless workflow between the NavVis M6 indoor mobile mapping system and NavVis IndoorViewer 3D visualization software which serve as the core technologies for enabling the most demanding enterprises to seamlessly implement and operate a digital twin of their buildings and factory to radically improve efficiency in manufacturing operations.
Merkel was incredibly interested in learning all about our successful company trajectory and how our digital factory enterprise solutions are proudly bringing German high-tech to every corner of the world.
Thanks to the TUM for the continued support and big kudos to the organization team that did a spotless job in coordinating the meeting.
