Blue Marble Geographics will be hosting two events in the city of San Diego during the second week of July. An intensive, hands-on LiDAR workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 12th followed the next day with the latest stop in the 2017 User Conference (BMUC) series.

The one-day LiDAR workshop will explore all aspects of LiDAR processing from initial data quality assurance to 3D analysis. The class will introduce the structure and characteristics of LiDAR data before following a series of workflows that demonstrate the point cloud visualization, editing, and analysis capabilities of Global Mapper and the accompanying LiDAR Module.

BMUC is a gathering of geospatial professionals representing a wide variety of industry sectors, government departments, and academic institutions who share a common interest in Blue Marble’s GIS and geodetic technology.
Attendees gain insight into current and future product plans; hear from interesting and innovative users of Blue Marble’s geospatial tools; pick up useful tips and tricks for optimizing the application of both Global Mapper and Geographic Calculator; and participate in the on-going collaborative development process by providing feedback and requests to the Blue Marble team. Lunch will be provided.
