Day 1 – August 16
The first day of the summit will occur at the State Preparedness Training Center (SPTC) in Oriskany, New York. This day will include a series of presentations on key policy issues, case studies, and best practices concerning the use of UAS for public safety operations. This event will also feature UAS demonstrations leveraging the grounds of the SPTC.

Day 2 – August 17
The second day of the summit will be hosted by NUAIR at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, New York. NUAIR has arranged for top drone companies with the latest technologies developed specifically for public safety operations to be on-site to showcase their products/services with live demonstrations.

Target Audience
The target audience for these events is a broad range of public safety officials, including law enforcement, the fire service, and emergency management. Interested public safety attendees will be able to register to attend Day 1 and/or Day 2. **Note: Day 1 at the SPTC is only intended for government/public safety officials and will not be open to the public or private sector agencies.

Lodging
DHSES will cover lodging the nights of August 15 (for Day 1 participants) and/or August 16 (for Day 2 participants) for State and Local public safety officials whose residence and official work station are located 50 miles or more from the SPTC. If you require lodging, please indicate this in your registration request; see below for details on the registration process.
