Montreal, Canada, November 9th, 2020 – SimActive Inc., a world-leading developer of photogrammetry software, announces the release of Correlator3D™ version 8.6. The new version includes multiple new features, such as the use of intensity data from LAS files for image registration, the ability to improve mosaic seamlines with a DSM and the support of  DJI sun sensors.

The software also now allows to handle single image satellite projects.  Specifically, aerial triangulation can be performed using GCPs to improve georeferencing.  External DEMs can then be used for orthorectification.

“Feedback from our users is extremely important to us and drives our software development efforts”, said Louis Simard, CTO at SimActive.  “The ability to quickly adjust to client needs as well as to predict their future requirements allows us to stay ahead of competition.”
