Z+F FlexScan: Mobile Mapping SLAM Platform

Combining Precision with Efficiency

Z+F Mobile Mapping SLAM

The Z+F FlexScan® platform, developed by Zoller + Fröhlich, merges the precise measurement capabilities of static scans with the efficiency of mobile systems. This innovative solution is ideal for time-sensitive or large-scale applications in AEC, facility management, process industries, heritage documentation, and forensics.

Versatile Mounting Options

The Z+F FlexScan® 22 is highly adaptable, easily integrating with various support systems. It can be mounted on backpacks, tripod carts, fixed tripods, and robots. The Quick Mount System allows for swift transitions between support systems, completed within minutes. Additionally, data captured using different support systems can be seamlessly registered in Z+F LaserControl®.

Integrated Camera System

Equipped with a panoramic camera, the Z+F FlexScan® 22 color maps the mobile scan data, enhancing the visual representation of the scanned environment.

Project Efficiency and Customization

A project-adaptive approach allows the Z+F FlexScan® 22 to be tailored to the specific requirements of each project, optimizing time and resources. This flexibility enables the system to be customized according to the project’s scope and nature, enhancing cost efficiency. By utilizing this adaptable system, companies and surveying offices can boost their competitiveness and improve the profitability of their scanning projects.

Simplified Data Collection

The Z+F FlexScan® 22 synchronizes static and mobile data locally on an internal hard drive and on a removable medium for backup and processing. This ensures that data is securely stored and easily accessible for further use.

Seamless Integration with blue workflow®

Data from the Z+F FlexScan® 22 integrates effortlessly into the blue workflow® and Z+F LaserControl®, or it can be exported to standard formats for use with third-party software.

Exceptional Measurement Accuracy

A person operates a Z+F FlexScan Mobile Mapping system near water, seated on a stone platform.

Leveraging the high quality and range of the static high-end scanner Z+F IMAGER® 5016, the Z+F FlexScan® 22 achieves an accuracy of up to 2.5 mm in SLAM results. Each profile scanned with the Z+F FlexScan® 22 consists of 10,000 points, ensuring detailed and precise 3D models. For projects requiring even higher accuracy, SLAM data can be enhanced by adding control points or survey controls.

In summary, the Z+F FlexScan® platform offers a versatile, efficient, and highly accurate solution for various scanning applications, combining the strengths of both static and mobile systems.
